Wedding Preparation - Bridal Room

Location: Of cause is Alfonso's house, Kuching

We went to look for the new furniture for our Bridal Room. We went through 3 warehouses.... I suggested go for more warehouse before buy it... end up we went back to the 1st warehouse :p

We choose the cheapest bed set since we are not stay here often. Maybe just 2 or 3 times in a year. 1 bed frame, 2 doors wardrobe, 1 hair dress table... come with 5" mattress, 2 pillow & 1 booster. Guess... how much all of these?... only RM899, hehe.

Since this day is 'Union Dinner' for Chinese New Year. So this year my union dinner had here.... ( i bought wrong date of flight :S )

1st time see got such many foods on the table for Union Dinner with only 5 peoples. Full.... and YUMMY!

PART 1



Alfonso was doing his preparation.... weight, checked! hook, checked!... blah blah blah.


Here we are.... after ~1 hour journey... we reached the destination at 2:45pm. Around it... it is neighborhood area without fence... old kampung style... can feel the harmony among each other.


Pay before 'play'... 10 buck for 1 hour... minimum 3 hours and deposit 20 bucks. Supposingly, total RM50... but don't know why Ah Ma asked for RM51.

no beverage or snack to be bought by yourself.... see... here got selling. Unless you want to eat Hokkien Mee, Abalone soup, bird nest.... eee... i think they do cook it if you want... because they do have a restaurant here. Actually you can pass your fish to them and they will cook for you.

PART 2


equipments... Just a beginner level... everything start from simple...

Small size prawns... bought from market... we bought RM5 which is too much... 1 kg = RM12... We just brought 1/3.. the rest stored in the fridge for tomorrow cook if today we got a fish... yeah~

"Fishes, fishes.... this is your favorite food oh... let me feed u.... "

Holding the fishing rod whole day... tired... put it down 1st...

We have no ideal what kind of fish of this... Ikan putih bawal? Well, we had spent almost 2 hours to wait for this fish coming. Alfonso was so excited... he thought today would "go back home with 2 empty hands". Well, his semangat mari already... keep it up!

Wait... wait... wait... come on... almost time's up liao ~

"Yahoo0... another fish is on my rod now!!!" Alfonso screamed after he washing his hand over another pondok. He so so excited... well, I were answering the call from Ideal Wedding. He put more hard and try to get the fish.... he saw it! he saw it! Just in front of him... it was closed the fish pond edge. I were trying the take his HP and record it in video while answering my phone call. Well... ... ... ... ... ... ... the fish was escaped from his rod successfully (-_-)||| Alfonso was so susah hati T_T... keep thinking why why why... why its gone? He saw that is Ikan Siakap. Well, he was almost running out of time... he 'install' again since the string was broken... weight, hook and that connection were gone. At last, we decided not going to fishing again since time's up... and we would not to take extra hour for it. Well, we brought the only one trophy going back hope. On the way back... he still feel 不甘心. Ya, I understand it... never mind la... one another enough for us for tomorrow cook liao... not bad what... hehe.

PART 3

Alfonso not willing to 'kill' it... he wants me to do it... he is bad. I feel so guilty lo. This is my 1st time 'kill' fish by my own hand... "南无喔尼驼佛"~


1st... wash the fish


2nd... Prepare knife and cutting board


3rd... cut open


4th... remove its gut (errrrr...)


5th... remove its gills (Ueeeak...)


6th... Clear? checked


7th... wash again


8th... massaging (... kidding la... :p)


9th... DONE! (Yeah~)

Well, the next day (01/02/10, Monday) we made it as Teoh Chew Steamed Fish and cooked the rest of the prawn as Fried Eggs with Prawn. By the way, we also made a ABC soup.... these were our lunch & dinner lo... hehe!
