Date: ww20 Update

Fan, light & water heater installation - by Ah Hou ww20.3-ww20.6 (?)
Why he takes so long? Actually this is just a 2 days works for him. Unfortunately, he break a water pipe in bath room 1 while he drilling a hole for the heater handle.

Initially, it is just RM300 for this installation. Now, added on the pipe fixing, total cost me RM500 (-_-|||)

Ah Hou never feel that this unbalance level of light is a problem. I told him put the one down a bit... he response was: you want it all to be aligned? (-_-|||)

At the same day ww20.3, CUCINA sent a person to install my kitchen cabinet.

Kitchen plus electrical installation...

My impression of my kitchen cabinet... RM12k just like this: laminate with chip board. Worth for the price??! I complaint about the hood installation. It is not a straight line against the wall.

ww21.5 - install the solid surface top. Ms Tan will come and monitor all... include the hood that I complaint.

Interior of tall unit. Again, just like this... not only the material they using... the quality is 'just like this'. This unit cost me RM1.5k!

This painting was happened on last week ww19.6. Decided to color our walkway with Jotun's Cappuccino, again :)

ww20.6... HomeLife@Pisa delivered my dinner table, table console, multipurpose table (as my side table), 2 book shields & 2 stools.

After finished installation. My dinner table + light. One bulb was not in size... have to go back to Fe.Li.Fur to change it.

KC Home also delivered a king bed sheet on the same day. Due to their late delivery without inform, I had 'scold' them with their service... not only because the late delivery... is the person ask me to wait until 10pm! What?! and she cannot confirm me the time on my 2nd request. Anyway, they delivery for me on 5+pm... after checked, only know there has 2 defects! Call back to them and told me she need to check see whether when can deliver for another set. After that, no more call from them already. KC Home service is very BAD!!!

Wardrobe

Finally finally finally...
We decided to stick to the initial plan for our Master Room design... due to the 'unpractical' space area... Build a custom made wardrobe which as a divider between bed and wash room.

What made us to have this decision?? Because... we found a carpenter who offer us a very reasonable price! :)

Back of the wardrobe. We were surprised that he initiated to create some design on the back.

Guess how much he quote us with 6 feet width x 9 feet height? ONLY RM2500!!!
CUCINA quoted us such size with simple+bad design (fully board) ~RM4k!!! Damn expensive! I advise you guys don't go for so called 'kitchen expert' (signature kitchen, verra kitchen, perfektar kitchen etc)... put more patient and go to look for the 'unknown' carpenter.

If you guys want to get my carpenter's contact number, pls drop your msg here. By the way, he is from Penang. Not sure he does cover South region of Malaysia or not.

Sun Han City Restaurant@Ipoh

This restaurant was established in Ipoh some times ago but we never go there and try it. Last time, we think that we only have chance to try the food in such kind of restaurant during wedding dinner... seldom go and try it out by ourselves.

Today, we have chance to go in and try it out. Why? To celebrate Mother's day in advance... plus... labor day what... no need to cook mah :p

Mushroom+jelly fish+broccoli (Rate: 3.5/5)


Prawn fried with wheat (Rate: 3.5/5)


Fish fried with special sauce... sauce taste like Laksa (Rate: 4/5)


'Nuggets' deep fried with wheat (Rate: 4/5)


Pork ribs with sweet sauce + mayonnaise (Rate: 4/5)


Four season vegetable (Rate: 4/5)


Eat eat eat... yummy yummy...!

We ordered package because captain said order package will serve faster. Today a lot of people... we almost wait for 1 hour for dish serving.

I thought the food standard of this restaurant just so so. Never think that it was out of my expectation (or maybe I was too hungry??). My sister also said that the foods were not bad. Not only quality is good, quantity also quite good. 3 mans were there, but not really can sapu all actually... just force to do so.

p/s: Base on my sister comment... food serves in wedding dinner is not as good as individual order. What do you think?

Today is PAINTING DAY!!!


These 5 pails of paint were cost us RM468
Supremium, Yarra Valley - RM120
Pearl Glo, Banana Toffee - RM85 (x3)
Pentalite, Millelium White - RM93


Let's start!


This time 'visit'... we saw Sentury already installed the sliding window for us.


Afternoon, during our painting activity, 2 guys were came in and install the door bell and...


installed exhausted fan in Master bedroom. Sentury task considered done. They said my small renovation only take 2 weeks time... end up, they took me cun cun 1 month.


Before Sentury, DoorDeco sent 2 peoples to install our shower screen at around 12:40pm until around 2pm.


Kawaii Curtain, Ah Wen was came punctual (12noon) and installed part of the window trail. Just 30% done.


We almost done the kitchen part... now going for the living hall. Open the paint that we bought... found that color is not what we order. Blue + purple... worry liao~


Go and 'kacau' it, only know that there has another color at the bottom. We need to mix it out balancely.

Hmm... honestly, I disappointed on what I choose. The color turn out is like this. Not what I want actually. How? Some more this is the most expensive paint among the rest. No choice, no money to re-do... I will accept it. Just I need some time to digest it.


Another color - banana toffee... this is for bed room. Luckily result came out is consider good.

Now only leave Master Room... last chance for us... color and skill... must think properly. At first, I returned back the extra 1 pail of Banana Toffee and exchanged another Banana Toffee to Cherry Blossom for Master Bedroom.

Yesterday, I re-considered again.... Pink... suitable for us? I saw the pink in my hometown's room... hmm... not that nice... OK, yesterday I went back to the shop and thought to change the Cherry Blossom to Jefferson House. Well, Jefferson House from Dulux is a mix color... means it will be more expensive... RM112 (price of paint increase since 01 May 2011 onwards). Wow... it is expensive for me... How? OK... calm down... think think think... look for other brand of paint. OK... Jotun's cappuccino... the color is almost same. "Boss, I want change it to Jotun's cappuccino."... yeah... settled... no extra change for me.

Yeah... here it is.... Jotun's cappuccino.

I'm very satisfy with this color... Yeah... finally, I got my color. Very hope that my house is paint with this color... but too late.

Since this is Jotun's STRAX series... if compare to Dulux's SUPREME & PEARL GLO... Jotun's STRAX is look more dull and not shinning (of cause)... But I like Jotun this color.
