Victoria Station

Restaurant: Victoria Station
Location: Jalan Tengah, Bayan Baru
Date: 29 Feb 2010

Since our big day is coming... money is very critical for us at this moment... we suppose to save more money for our big day... but why we still spending such 'big' amount in our meal??? Because he got extra bonus from 'outside'... just treat this as a small celebration... hahaha!

Captured by my HTC cell phone. Its build in camera is not powerful and high quality enough with compare with Nokia N95.

Actually I was trying to capture the environment... this is the inner decoration of the train.

Pineapple juice, RM 6.90
Rating: ***

Shark Fins with crab meat soup RM16.90
Rating: ****

Total 1/2 dozen fresh scallops baked with cheeses, RM19.90
This is my favorite... it was impressed me went we 1st time visit this restaurant in X'mas 2007... yummy!
Rating: *****

See what my hubby ordered....

He ordered lobster + beef combo, RM69.90
We thought this is a whole fresh small lobster... well, it comes out only a lobster meat baked with cheeses and put it on the half lobster shell. No wonder the waiter recommended him has a full fresh lobster with RM200!
Rating: ****
Beef is nice. Not really can taste the lobster meat because too little and covered by cheeses.

Here is what I ordered...
Salmon + Chicken Combo, RM24.90
Rating: ****
Chicken is very nice... I like the taste. Well, salmon is normal... comes with lemon tartar sauce.

This dinner cost him RM150.30. Wow... but we were very full. We not really can 'sapu' all.
I highly recommend a Baked Cheese Scallops... MUST TRY!

Fishing Equipments

Our new activity - FISHING!

Alfonso had thought to go for fishing since few months ago but we not really work it out. Well, yesterday he decided to buy a fishing equipment and going to start he new activity. He plans to go a fishing pound in Getak Sangguh which is located in west north of Penang Island. For me, I won't go there because that fishing pound is counting by money when you fishing there. I prefer F.O.C one like can go Teluk Bahang or somewhere open fishing place. Anyway, we went to Gurney (actually went there for movie) and Tesco (we knew Giant does have it so think that Tesco would have it) look for the fishing equipment... well, no... there did not selling this.

Well, today we went to the small and 'atap' fishing equipment shop which near to the wet market in Tg. Bungah... since we went there to buy some stuffs for soup cooking and have breakfast+lunch over there. I thought he went there is just to take a look... now comes up he bought all the fishing stuffs from there. Let's see what he bought...

Fishing Rod in 7 meter, RM33

Fishing Reel, RM35

Pliers, RM18
Weight, RM0.80 each (total bought 5 weights)
4 different fishing tackles, total RM12

Total RM102.... we requested boss discount RM2 for us... so total we spent RM100. One utility box pending to buy.

I'm thinking... don't know how long he can 'play' with it. Last time he bought a kite which cost RM30+ but we never 'touched' on it until now... it still placing inside his car boot. Before this, he bought a guitar and guitar book... said that wanna learn it and play a birthday song for me in my birthday. I was happy to hear this and was looking forward on it... well, it never happened in my birthday and he only play it total not more that 6 hours... now place it in his room by a thick dust :s

Micheal & Michelle Wedding

Date: 19 Dec 2009, Sat
(Just after a week of my ROM)
Venue: Selangor

This was my best friend's wedding in Selangor. I purposely flight from Penang to KL to attend her wedding. I took my flight after/during work.

I'm so happy when I heard Michelle going to get married. I'm so excited when she wanted me to be her photographer since she did not appoint any. Excited but a bit worry as well since I have no experience and no used to use Alfonso's SLR camera. I'm mention and mention, remind and remind Michelle does not put high expectation on me because I really worry about it... worry later lost my good reputation :p

Well, just see how's going.... Check it out!

Well, for my 1st time.... I quite satisfy with my output even a lot photos were failed. What most helped me was the Nikkon 50mm 1.8f prime lens.
