This restaurant is same as the Chinese Recreation Club (CRC) restaurant. Their menu is quite similar.

Stir fried egg served on lettuce... must order food :) Simple but I like it.

Teoh Chew steamed sea grouper

2 tastes of chicken... salted egg flavor and ?? flavor... I forgot the name already ;p

Salted egg prawn... nice.

Crispy Peking duck. Last minute order... luckily their still have 'stock'... if I not mistaken, it is cost about RM75

Peking duck skin rolled with egg skin

Plus carrot and cucumber slice... of cause with the sauce too. I like the duck skin... but not really like the rest of the 'ingredient'...

Dessert... "Ai Yu Ping".. portion consider big for me.... Just RM2.50... Cheaper than pasar malam stall :p

I forgot total how much have spend for this meal. We thought the Peking duck is the most expensive, well... turn out is the steamed grouper is the most expensive. Overall, the price is reasonable.

I like this Chinese restaurant... reasonable price... location close to my house... parking is better than CRC... food nice... environment not bad... I will bring parents to come if their like to eat Chinese food.

Japanese Style Leek & Potato Soup... RM20... Taste a bit strong... but I still can accept...

Look like ice-cream... but it is not... I think it is called sherbet... sweet and sour... expertize your stomach before main course come... complimentary...

His order... "Wagyu Cheek"... RM88... too soft and feel jelak after few bites... and I felt smelly in my mouth after eat... BAD!

My order... "COD"... pan fried Miso Cod... RM70... taste so so... Not really can accept the sauces...

My birthday gift from Alfonso. I requested to have a big hand bag which can throw everything inside... This is his taste... ha!

"ROXY" brand... I thought less than RM100... he said nope... opps... for me... it is expensive if base on the design and material... Anyway, thank you my dear Alfonso :)

Merry Christmas!!!

This year X'mas we did not plan to have any special or anything to celebrate. Maybe we are too tired... I'm tired on my work and pregnancy... hehe. Thus, we just went to the nearest restaurant which close to our working place to have a dinner.

This is just a simple and cozy restaurant. Family business I believe. We did not make any reservation because think that people will go to somewhere high class restaurant. Well, when I open the door... it almost full house. Luckily, the peoples from another table are going to leave.

The foods are taste good with reasonable price :)

Even thought we did not purposely go and celebrate this year Christmas but I won't forget to get him a Christmas present :)

Ceramic mug from Parkson. Initial plan is buying a watch storage box for him but it not yet delivered. Thus, just on the spot buy him a mug when we were shopping in 1st Avenue Mall :)

Our 3rd anniversary!!!

Ordered from my ex-colleague, Oritta Cakehouse. It is just a fruit sponge cake. Taste is light... suit me :)

This is the restaurant 'look'... I found it from food blogger website. Comment is not bad from them. That's why I decided go and try.

Waiting for our foods...

Wild mushroom soup RM28... saw it from food blogger. The taste... hmm.. not our cup of tea.

Mushroom quiche RM28... also saw few bloggers ordered this. The taste... hmm... ok-la~ small portion.

My order... homemade sausages RM32... again..small portion... but enough fill in to my stomach... Taste... so so.

His order... Rack of lamb RM48... menu of the day... looks good. But after eat some... he feel jelak already...

2013 New Year Menu...

If you ask me... will I come and visit this restaurant again? My answer is... NO!

  The taste of food is under our expectation... and some more the price is high if base on such quality and quantity of food. Don't fully trust what the food blogger comment :p

Sakana Sushi Bar & Cruisine

Location: 252, Jalan Penang Georgetown, 10000 Georgetown, Penang

This restaurant located near by the Polis Station at town, starting point of Campbell street, famous Cendol or same row of Eden restaurant... corner unit. You can see it at the Penang road (main road).

 

Surprisingly... Not much choices...

Sushi plate price from RM2 - RM6

Not much sushi selection...  maybe is weekday. Their 'hand roll' skill is not good as I can see. The taste is normal.

Spicy pepper squid... not bad... some sort like Taiwan famous salty chicken popcorn... portion is not big actually...

Chicken Ramen... the taste is very light. Note that the soup is not in teriyaki taste. The udon is a bit too soft and not so firm for me. I need to add in some chili power to light up my appetite. Rating: 2.5/5

Beef teriyaki set... the rice portion is not big... just good enough. The set meal is come with 1 scoop of ice-cream. Rating: 3/5

Overall, the food taste is not meet my expectation. Sakae Sushi franchise is better than this. The staff there mostly is young people.
