FunFunGooo...!: Langkawi- Day1

For this 2nd quarter, my company forcing us take 4 days leave as shut down. LiangNie & Sue plan to go Langkawi since they found that Firefly got reasonable package to Langkawi. Steph, Peter, Alfonso and I join them together to go Langkawi.

Day 1
We taken around 1/2 hour flight from Penang to Langkawi. I met the same stewardess which we took the flight to Phuket for my last trip. We arrived Langkawi around 11:00am.

In Penang airport... waiting for our flight.

This is the flight that we took... only can consist 12 peoples.

After that, we transist to this 'Army' airplane...

Haha...joking la~ This baru is our flight to Langkawi

Once we arrived Langkawi... we start looking for the car rental agency... bargain...

After having our lunch, we went to our 1st visit place-Perdana Gallery.

This is the ticket. RM5 for each m'sian. Extra RM2 charge for one camera. Don't know how much will be charge if I bringing full set of Video Camera like making a film...haha.

Mahathir big photo is hanging at the main entrance. According to that Uncle (chinese security guard) said that, no matter which angle you stand, he is still looking at you. Yes, he did!

All stuffs inside this gallery is the Mahathir's stuffs which he received the regard from other country, party, association... He keeps all these stuffs in his gallery... even his wife's certificate and all the honor also display here. He and his wife really have a very strong background in term of the education. Not like other ... what is the ed' background of our ex-PM Abdullah's wife? What is the ed' background of our current PM's wife??? Shame...

That uncle told us he was the body guard of Mahathir, has been serviced more that 20 years. Now, he already retired... working as head of security of this gallery. He said Mahathir treated them very good. He will visit his gallery once for every month and will buy them all his stuffs a meal. Uncle also said that when Mahathir 退位, he gave them RM10k (or 100k, I forgot)... don't know what he said is truth or not...haha.

Guess... how many real perl inside this frame?.... more than 30 pieces...(39).

Once you look up... its '天花板' look very nice and grand... there got 2 different designs.

After visiting the Perdana Gallery, we go to hotel and check-in. This hotel located at the end of the South of Langkawi...

After an hour rest, we went to the cafe to have a tea. Tea set cost RM8.90... 1 cup of coffee/tea and various choice of cake/bread/sandwice...

After that.... it is time to take photo in this hotel... nice scenery...

Almost 6pm, we rent a bicycle to have a short cycle around this area. Rental of bicycle is RM5 for 1 hour. We took almost more than 1 hour... no extra charge...hehe.

Ready to GO!

We took a ride to the nearest public beach.... Urrrh... a lot of rubbish... very very dirty... disappointed. There still have people came here for swim but not many... after see it... not dare to go for swimming. I feel shame when tourist came here to visit. We only stay here for few minutes and leave.

Around 8pm, we arrived this seafood stall called Wonderland... heard that it is cheap and nice. Really... we ordered fish, prawn, clam, squid, mantis prawn, vegetable & coconut drinks... only cost us RM128... for 6 persons le... quatity is 'ngam ngam'... some more taste is NICE! Except that Tomyam steam fish...hehe.
