This restaurant was started operated on 2012. We celebrated 2014 Valentine's day in conjunction with Chap Goh Mei Day ( last day of Chinese New Year) at here. We celebrated the day after the actual V'day because it is more convenient for us since our boy just 13 months plus it is weekend, less expensive and avoid for traffic jam.

Logo of Maricosa... Pineapple...Tropicana feel~.

Outdoor seat... Nice design. Can enjoy your meal in front of boats, blue sky and partial tooks the sea.

Interior design and decoration

There have corner selling some stuffs... I believe is something related to Hawaii goodies.

My men and my boy... my men feeding my boy his porridge. I like their fan design... Very unique.

Hawaiian margaritas, RM21.90. The quantity can serve up for 2 persons. I thought that is juice plus champagne... Well, it contains alcohol. I can take much, hehe.

I ordered their salmon set which under salmon fair. Pumpkin soup and charcoal buns. Taste of soup is normal. The buns... Hmm... I feel only portion of buns is soft and tasteless. I'm not sure it should be this taste since this is my first time having charcoal bun.

Homemade squid sausage, RM18.90. The taste and texture are horrible! The meat is dry and not juicy at all... Hard to bite. Regret to order this... I should listen to Alfonso to order the clamp as appetizer.

My grilled salmon with butter, RM 33.90. Portion is small. Tiny slice of grilled salmon serve with potato mash. Very simple display. Taste: 3/5.

Honey pork ribs, RM42.90. Appearance looks good. Juicy if compare to the Morgan Field pork rib in Queensbay Mall that we had for lunch. If I not mistaken, it is teriyaki taste. My hubby said not bad. To me, ok-la. Taste:3.5/5

$$$$$$$$.... Overall the food is just ok, ambiance nice. If base on the portion and taste... I feel it is a bit overprice. I think customer is come for the ambiance instead of food. If you look at the menu, food display in picture looks yummy.

His v-gift is a sun-glasses with classic frame shape+blue reflection 'cermin'. No photo taken because he put it in his car already.

Surprise V-day gift from him. Actually I was looking for waist bag which needed during our traveling where we bring Lucas along. So it is more convenient for me to carry my boy. We walked into 'Country Hide' shop which having 70% off.I have no intention to buy any, only because I saw a watch storage and stopped by have a look. Well, sale lady told me this bag is made by the leather which same as Prada bag and now have 70% off which from RM839 become RM251.70. Alfonso said he buy this for me as v-day gift. How can I say NO le~ hehe :)

Japanese Style Leek & Potato Soup... RM20... Taste a bit strong... but I still can accept...

Look like ice-cream... but it is not... I think it is called sherbet... sweet and sour... expertize your stomach before main course come... complimentary...

His order... "Wagyu Cheek"... RM88... too soft and feel jelak after few bites... and I felt smelly in my mouth after eat... BAD!

My order... "COD"... pan fried Miso Cod... RM70... taste so so... Not really can accept the sauces...

"ROXY" brand... I thought less than RM100... he said nope... opps... for me... it is expensive if base on the design and material... Anyway, thank you my dear Alfonso :)

Merry Christmas!!!

This year X'mas we did not plan to have any special or anything to celebrate. Maybe we are too tired... I'm tired on my work and pregnancy... hehe. Thus, we just went to the nearest restaurant which close to our working place to have a dinner.

This is just a simple and cozy restaurant. Family business I believe. We did not make any reservation because think that people will go to somewhere high class restaurant. Well, when I open the door... it almost full house. Luckily, the peoples from another table are going to leave.

The foods are taste good with reasonable price :)

Even thought we did not purposely go and celebrate this year Christmas but I won't forget to get him a Christmas present :)

Ceramic mug from Parkson. Initial plan is buying a watch storage box for him but it not yet delivered. Thus, just on the spot buy him a mug when we were shopping in 1st Avenue Mall :)

My New Smart Phone-Note2

Finally, I got my brand new Samsung smart phone Note 2 from Digi store@Queensbay Mall. I had been to Digi store twice yesterday,Monday during lunch time and after work. But go back home with empty hand.

One of the Digi staff who served me since yesterday, he automatically free me a protector screen which worth RM49 and help me to install it. Between, he also gave a RM49 discount on the original Samsung flip cover which normal price is RM199. Why he so nice? No no no, this is the way they show their apology on me about the yesterday incident. OK, I happy with it already.

My HTC Touch 2... I think I bought it in 2009. This cost me ~RM1500... even expensive than Note2... Of cause HTC is without sign up for any data plan or package with any phone operator. If I'm not mistsken, 1st time purchase a new handphone without any strong reason to replace the old one. My 1st hp was Nokia 8210. Sub-sale from my friend who found the phone left in public, RM250... I like it ->2nd was Motorola 1st color screen, E398. Kena water while having fun on kayaking -> 3rd was Samsung, SGH-E840. I believe I lost it in Tg. Tokong food court. I like this also... very slim. My cell phone "evolution"...

                      

His Asics Running Shoe

Today plan to buy a Samsung Note 2 which Alfonso promised to buy for me as pregnancy gift? anniversary gift? Whatever~ Went to Digi store@Queensbay Mall, due to I'm a Maxis user... need to switch the line to Digi, it needs to take ~2days only can the line can be activated. Well, I also cannot get the phone yet... no stock for white color (stock only available at afternoon... but not my turn yet). No choice, just do the necessary switch operator process first. Will back to collect the phone and pay the advanced credit on next 2 days.

Today only Samsung? No no no... Alfonso also has a purpose to come here. He got a 25% Asics discount voucher which got from 2012 Penang Bridge Marathon... so we just go and have a look. Normally, the Asics store not many people walk in... today... wow... a lot. Because tomorrow is Marathon day... a lot people from over state come and collect their goodies... of cause, discount voucher is on their hand now. Even thought we have 25% discount voucher, but those running shoes very expensive. Since we decided not to buy the Samsung Galaxy Camera which we buy it as our 3rd marriage anniversary gift (Last year was iPAD2), and now he will buy Samsung Note 2 for, I treat it as anniversary gift... then what should I buy for him? OK... Asics running shoe la~. Staff recommended few pairs of shoes for him which suit to his foot shape. Due to only few choices and sizes available, he choose this one. Sharp in color... look young! :D

We saw a bright light up white building when we pass by the Weld Quay street... wondering is this a new hotel or pub? This entire row of building which in front of the Jetty is doing re-contruct work which treat as heritage. I search online and finally know about this building.

Our order..Gamberetti rm22..... Prawn rolled by bacon and roasted....Nice!!!... Just feel a bit salty.

His order... Mezzeluna di via pre, rm51... Light and fresh... Very very YUMMY!!! recall me the clamb soup in IL Barcaro Restaurant.

My order... Buffalina Pizza, rm36... A bit disappointed. Not much variaty of ingredient... but the base is thin and crispy. I was felt to like to eat pizza before I come... but after the 'welcoming bread'... hmm... regret, better order pork rib/fish fillet course.

Strawberry tiramisu, RM22... fresh to me.
