YarraValley@Australia - Day 5/8

Date: 20 May 2010, Thursday

Actually I wrote it on 3 April 2011... Almost come to 1 year after our Aust Trip. I only continue to write my blog now... hehe.

Again, we woke up at early morning. After having our bread as breakfast, we start our 1-2 hour journey to Yarra Valley.

Healesville Sanctuary


Entrance... entrance fee:AUD 24.40 per pax


After the main entrance, huge eagle was welcoming us....


Emu... largest bird in Australia, and the second largest in the world after the ostrich. Emus are found only in Australia.


Emu & Alfonso... good match? Hehee...


Err.... this one.... forgot who live inside.


Another famous animal in Aust - Wombat, is the largest burrowing animal in the world.


Errr...don't know what it call...


Small 'jungle'...


Yeah... come to another famous animal in Aust-Kangaroo!


Staff was giving us some corns and chopped carrot to feed them.


Little kangaroo...


No big kangaroo was allowed for us to feed... coz it is really big.


Haha... no need to introduce. Is him, again.


Taken our lunch in this sanctuary... Hot choc was warm us in such cold weather. Tell you, the fries was FANTABULOUS!!!


Mix rolls.... (coz don't know what it is already :p) Nice!
This lunch was cost us total AUD31.


After our lunch, we continue our exploration...


Wildlife Health Centre... more in edu.

Honestly, I won't go for 2nd time. Maybe it's not what I'm interested. Some more, animal there is not many.

Domaine Chandon Winery


On the way going to the winery...

We walked around while waiting for next session of tour.




This is the place to 'produce' wine...


Wine storage... dark dark...


Next, wine tasting area...


This is their vineyard... Nice view. Unfortunately, no grapes coz just passed the harvest time.

Yering Station Winery


We came to another famous winery... It's called Yering Station Winery.


We did not visit their vineyard... coz don't know the way to go :p So, we just paid a visit of their restaurant and wine shop.


Near the Yering Station Winery, we found a farm which producing lots kind of cheese.

Kangaroo Ground Memorial Tower


On the way back to hotel.... we found this in our map which got from the information centre of Yarra Valley. We purposely take another route back which not same as where we came...


Here has a small tower which is xxx memorial.... Again, I forgot it.

Dinner: Ma Ma Steamboat Restaurant


We are tired after whole day journey. Rest a while in hotel and then went to the near by restaurant...


A lot Asian... I believe most of them are student... Art School is near by.


A lot of sauces...

Our steamboat flavour... Herbal and SiChuan soup.


Warn you, don't take SiChuan... it was damn hot! Our mouth were getting red and swollen. We really can't go for it anymore.


We took a walk after dinner... Art Man...

Library was 'fell' into earth!!


Hmm... this building is... last time was a public 'bath room'... men and lady areas are separated. This just located in front of just now Ma Ma steamboat.
