This morning received the GOOD NEWS from our CEO, John Kispert.
"It has been a long road, but today, i can finally write you and say that we have emerged form Chapter 11. We are now in full control of our future and are no longer under bankruptcy court supervision. Great job, everyone. This is a historic day for the new Spansion."
Wow, how great to hear this news! How many hard works have been worked out by our top management over the past 14 months. Yeah, there is the big contribution from the top management. It is not an easy job to emerge from Chapter 11which without any financial help from others (bank/US government).
Last week, there have few creditors were going to appeal to the court about the approval from court in last month. Actually, court already approved Spansion's re-organization plan. By the law, there has 2 weeks time for those who has any concern about this approval. At last minute, some creditors were coming out for appealing. Well, we all are getting more worries about this action taken by the creditors. Our CEO told me that no need to worry about it, stay focus on our job. Well, today we got the good news from him. Well done, John! :)
If I not mistaken, John will get an one million plus USD as his reward after success emerge from Chapter 11. This is based on his contract. Well, I'm as a small employee... of cause will get some small rewards. What reward is that? Hehe... not yet confirmed. Don't want to reveal in here. Hmm... it should be a very happy thing... but one thing is disturbing me... about my career.
