South Korea Trip - Day 1 - Busan

WELCOME TO BUSAN!

Arrived at 8:30am
After exited the departure hall, we found a 7-11 store in our left hand side. What we want to buy in 7-11 store? Of cause is buying transportation card like T-money or Cash Bee. This is used to pay for taxi fares, public buses and subways in several different metropolitan cities and locations, and in some cases, transactions at convenience stores.

Price: 2,500 won (non-refundable). We top up 25,000 won. Enough? Hmm... not really :) In Busan, min fare is 1,200 won. Depend on distance, there is same fare if you transit to few stations.

Walked out from Airport building and walked to Metro Train building which opposite on right of the Airport. Taking their metro train to Seomyeon station which our motel located at.
On the way walking to our motel, we saw a food banner and turned into the alley. We found behind/center of this building has some local food stalls. I guess it is market. We looked around, we can't find more food picture display outside (since we don't know Korea language). We just simply stopped by one of a stall which have picture displayed. The boss is so friendly to welcoming us. We put down our luggage and tried to make order. We would like to have something hot, but their do not understand any single of English. After duck and chicken talk, we surrender and just point to the picture which we know they are noodle in cold soup. By the way, the boss is so friendly and showing us how to eat this type of noodle by adding some sauces :)

It is not so difficult to find if you follow exactly what Google map shown. Lift is only available up to 3rd floor. Lift area is small. I think only can fit 2 persons plus some luggage. Overall, I'm satisfied their room and toilet condition. We are staying at 3rd floor. This motel surrounded by restaurants and convenient store. So no worries about your eat. And, this area happening at night. You won't not see many people during day time.

I have forgot to print out my itinerary and no internet available. We had wasted our time to get these 2 things where we not willing to direct connect to our Malaysia internet (it is expensive) at initially. Anyway, after worked hard to find WIFI, we have to turned on to mobile data and asked my friend to send me my itinerary file. Initial plan is to go Beomeosa Temple > Taejongdae Park. Each of these 2 places need to take about 3 hours for round trip. Due to time constraint, we only can choose one. So we choose to Taejongdae Park since it is less time than Beomeosa Temple. After online search, direct take bus from Seomyeon station is more convenient.

Here we go! This is the last stop of bus #88. We need to walk up to the main entrance.

Here is Taejungdae Park's signature landmark. To read more -> Taejungdae Park.

This is the dumplings that we bought from Lotte department store at Seomyeon station. Size is big and taste is good. I think they used to put chicken and glass noodle. Anyway, I still prefer Malaysia Chinese dumpling because the taste is more stronger :)

These are Korean famous drinks - Banana milk. It is hard to get the banana flavor milk in Malaysia. At first, I thought they only have banana flavor. Now I only know they have more flavors! (pure milk, honeydew, strawberry etc)

Street food! Fried fish cake, fried green chilli, fried prawn, fried crab stick etc.

2,000 won for 3 items. The taste is not bad. I saw local people put 'sauce' in float. What we called in malay is "banjir".  Since we do not know the taste, so we just request only some. I wish I could have 1 more try... hmm...
Our 1st dinner in Korea. This restaurant just near by our motel. Why we choose this restaurant? Because of its reasonable price lah~ We are not come here for food. So we did not really emphasize on their food. Anyway, the taste is good!

This is the area that we stay... street view.

street food stalls. Most of the stall selling same thing... seafood in barbecue.

Another junction... which selling fried snacks...

Selling 2nd hand books... transformation of the van looks cool, right?

Plastic surgery... no surprise you will see a lot of plastic surgery clinic here.

This area is always occupied with RUBBISH!

Today we end with this rice alcohol... the taste is very strong! I can take another shot. Good night!
