Chicken Pie Making

Date: 14 Dec 2010, Sunday

Result: FAIL

This time is done by Alfonso.
I purposely bought a "In The Mood For PASTRIES & TARTS" bakery book which written by Alan Ooi.


Preparing Short Crust Pastry...
200g plain flour, 110g butter, 1/4 tsp salt, 2 1/2 tbsp water


Looks good, right?


Filling.... chicken, potato, onion, carrot, green bean...


Put the filling into 'pre-bakeried' pastry...


Big pie...


Well, he insists to put another pastry on top of his pie...

Got a piece for trying...
I can guess out this is not an 'ideal' pie that he wanted...


The pastry was too crunchy and the topping is not good to use in this way. However, the filling is taste good.

Well, what we can do on this pie? Eat all? OR...?
