I'm not really take care of my skin since I stopped using the skin care from Doctor. Before my wedding... I think end of last year 2009... I was recommended by my colleague about a skin specialist in Batu Lancang@Penang. Yes, the skin care provided by the doctor is worked. After I finish his product, I went back and let him to check. He gave me almost same thing... just the sequence to apply it is different. Melashine, one of the cream that doctor gave me. This is controlled cream. Only can buy it upon doctor approval. Alfonso felt curious about this cream. So he online and check it... it contained hydroquinone which controlled by the government. This ingredient only can apply 4%. Product which more than 4% is banned. A lot skin care product also contain more that 4% of this ingredient. What is the side effect of this cream? Please check it online.

Even thought this is only contained 4% of hydroquinone. But what Alfonso found out from Article... if it doesn't work after finish one tube, we recommended to stop using it. Else, our skin will become more sensitive and would cause cancer if serious. This was my 2nd tube, for my safety, I stopped it.

Since I stopped using any skin care after 1/2 year... my skin getting worse and got a big pimples with head. It stuck under my skin for few weeks. I know how it happened. It was my careless... hehe. After online see the forum... Assata, Thalgo, Cellnique etc... Well, today I decided to go to the 'proper' skin care centre - Aster Spring.

At fisrt, I just think to go for their facial treatment which buy 1 free 1 (with same treatment) which cost RM178. The beautician will do the check up for your skin. Understand my skin condition... then she recommended Refine Treatment for me which is suitable for acne skin and this will hydrating my skin.

This is 1 1/2 hour treatment. I felt it just OK. With the step and the service provided, I think RM178 is a bit expensive. Since I decided to 'invest' on my skin... I willing to buy any product they recommend me even thought they did not push me much.

End up, I signed up a package which I think it is worth. 6 times treatment (RM178 each time) plus 1 basic set which cost me RM1048.
They have provide 0% installment plan. HSBC-6/12 months, Citibank-3/6/12 months and Standard Charted Bank.

I got myself a very basic set which suitable for my skin type.


1st -> Cleansing cream... not in gel or form type. No bubble.


2nd -> Toner. Spray one...


3rd-> Smoothing Cream


I requested my beautician to give me more sample which needed for my skin. She very nice... direct take it from drawer and pick up which is suitable for my skin condition now.
From Left to Right: Daily Microfoliant, Ultra Calming Cleanser, Overnight Clearing Gel.
The small bottle one is the Sun Block.

Dermalogica, I heard this brand long time ago. I'm not dare to use it. Why? Because it is very expensive! Well, since I decided to invest it... just try it see whether it works for my skin or not.
