Time: 8:20am-12:30pm
Weather: Sunny
This is my 3rd or 4th time to go to the Kerachut beach for hiking. Yesterday night was raining and worry this morning will rain and could not make it. Luckily, it was Sunny day! We were so excited since 1st time we had 18, such many peoples to join this hiking. What so attractive for this hiking? I think is the sea turtle.
These are the participants... my colleagues and their friends.
Nice view right?
Yeah, this is the place...
Information center...
Not sure what is the purpose of this building. It is still under construction. Maybe Museum or Office?
This is the information counter and we have to register before we go in to the Taman Negara.
Let's start our journey...
You will cross this bridge after few minutes walk...
After the bridge, you will see the arrow to point you where is your destination. Can see that, here has few places for hiking/camp.

Another sign board at the middle of the beach.
This is the "Post control" of this beach (Pos Kawalan).
This is the multi purpose hall where just next to the Pos Kawalan. This also a good place for you to set a camp.
After the camp area, you will see the Turtle Conservation Center. This center has been renovated. It looks much more simple when I was been here last time.
This center provide you some information about the turtles and of cause, protect the sea turtle mission as well.
Sea turtle eggs were here. This place is gated, we are not allow to go in.
Can see that? These are the little sea turtles! So cute!!! They only have 2 days big. It will be let go after 3 days big. It means tomorrow they are free!
Let's watch my video...
After visiting the sea turtle conservation center, we set our "small pinic" under the tree/near the rock where was the end of the beach.
At the end of the beach, there has the path to go to Teluk Kampi.
Green...green...green... (hello...)
Guess, what is this?
Deng.deng.deng.deng~ Is a little crab with smiling face on its shell!
We caught it easily because it was not trying to escape and totally not afraid of us!
It likes to take photo some more.
Jetty located at the middle of beach.
This is one of the nice point to take the photo.
If you want to go Kerachut Beach and not really want to take so much energy to hike, you may think to get a boat to/from here.
Ready to leave... Get in to the board...
This is the starting point of Kerachut beach
On the way we back, we can see some funny shape's rock. This rock looks like Rabbit!
These rocks formed a turtle shape...
Crocodile head. Uncle told us keep silent, we will get trouble if wake up this crocodile...ha!
Eagle nest was there...
Only see the forest? Come on, can you see the white Eagle there? Spot it!
This is cave... wondering how inside looks like...can go in?
This is the Muka Head/Teluk Duyung/Monkey Beach...This is in another side of the Taman Negara.
USM center which is doing research I think...
Trail that build by wood... way to go USM/Monkey beach...
fish breeding area...
We are heading to the port...
Fisherman's boards...
We were stopped here and back to the Taman Negara's entrance point.
All the fisherman's boards are parked at this Jetty....
