We walked around and see what should we have for tonight dinner. Most of the restaurant also only serve with their Christmas set dinner for tonight. Yes, it is more expensive if compare to their daily menu. Wanted to take a Japanese food but we could not find out where it is. OK, let's go to the restaurant which with the 'reasonable' price of Christmas set dinner and less people.
Kaffa Cafe. RM50+ for set dinner. Others... more than hundred ringgit.

My main course: Lemon grass chicken chop with rice & vege.

Local food. Feel like eating eco-rice :p
They do have Sandwich & Nasi Lemak as their main course in RM50+. Worth it?

Sauce is nice and the lamp shank is soft. This set cost RM60+

I only take very small 2 bite of this. Really not nice or I may say really not in my taste. Wanted to put NO star in my rating actually.

Since today they only serving set dinner and knew tonight might have many customer.s.. they should able to manage all the thing very well. Drink and food are late to serve. Staffs messed up the order even my bill! Fortunately, it was not bad for us... no long wait for our food. We saw the customers which in front of us were had a long wait. Staffs were not aware even their appetizer/soup is not serving yet. Customers requested to cancel the order and staff there said OK and all is free for them. See, there at least RM400 business in front of them but Kaffa not afford to earn it. Too bad.

We bought one and try. Added 10 cent, would have 1 bottle of 500ml mineral water.

ReplyDeleteHei. i googled up Kaffa Cafe bcos there's one located at Bukit Gambir (nearby USM) and i wanted to complain about almost everything there. Perhaps you can do it for me instead.lol.
ReplyDeletefirst, the food tasted bad!My friend and I ordered BBQ and blackpepper chicken chop each. and instead of chicken CHOP, we get chicken THIGH..with bones!!so instead of using the fork in a proper way, i hv to 'scoop' the meat like how u would use a spoon. (btw, those two are dinner sets, costing RM14.90 each,excluding service charge).Those chicken chop look exactly like Lemon grass chicken chop u posted.
mushroom soup is so-so, the salad is really bad!french fries are quite good.Lemon tea...so-so as well since i tried many of better ones.
Service=0!when i wanted to give some comments, the 'boss' shown a fuck-off-from-this-shop-now-once-u-done-paying face. Literally,he's not happy at all.and i wanted to ask (and comment), why am i getting a chicken thigh instead of chop, and what's the service charge for? All he said was 'ah..we hv new menu actually..bla bla bla', so i replied,'then y r u giving us the old one then? at least tell us beforehand how the chicken ll be served'.'Sorry' was the reply. Doesnt sound like a sincere one too.
That ll be the 1st and last time for my friend and i. btw, did u know 'kaffa' actually means something derogatory? it's sort of an insult to black ppl.google it up~lol!
not only the food is bad,but the service too,and worst, even the name of the shop degrade people!
Yeah... I don't think I will pay for 2nd visit.

Well, let's see... how long they can last if no more improvement on their service and quality of food.
i ordered bbq chicken chop too..i got a drumstick(with bone) instead of chicken chop!!
