I had been waited for this game for long time...
Fortunately, we managed to gather 10 peoples to join this@Pisa!
At first, I don't know Pisa has Paint Ball 'court' which is at the top level of multi storey car park. I thought it was in outdoor with few air filled 'blockages' there.

The suits hanging there were a bit wet and smelly... especially the protector for elbow and knee. I understand... because of rainy day recently. What I felt warm is they are using 'TOP' liquid for laundry :p

We had total around 250 bullets which can play for 3 1/2 games. 1/2 game? Yes! Which is only enough for 4 peoples to play. The crew convinced us to play with one of them and offered us some 'loose rule'. But, we insisted to say no because we believe their skill is very good if compare to us. We totally cannot bit them at all.

Well, it was FUN but SCARE for me. I just hide without significant move forward because I totally cannot see where the enemy are. OK, I will be brave next time! But I don't want be like this... Ouchhh!

ALTR Family Day

What a happening day!
I think it is quite successful event for Altera... around thousand peoples were attended. Employee's parents, spouse, children & friends are most welcome. I saw a lot children around... most of them are in months - 10+ age. I can saw how my colleague's spouse & child look like (kepo :p)

This morning, as usual... wanted to have my breakfast in cafeteria. Well, no food at all in cafeteria... there are occupied by the Eden Cafeteria. Opps... what I can have for my breakfast? Well, Kah Eng and I went to Building 3 and hope can get some foods there. Ha... quite a lot people... we busy to explore around and forgot our mission to come here.

Today program...

I got the balloon which just 'floating' at the inner entrance... just jump up and take... hehe.

This is our 1st spotted 'counter' -> face painting... we are the 1st customer... hehe.

After we had a beautiful banana chocolate stick (this is our breakfast... only the one food we could find)... we approached a clown to make a cute balloon for us... queqe up with the kid... hehe...paiseh.

This is the one that I most excited... SAND ART!
1st time I did it... the stall only started at 11am... Kah Eng and I back to office and came back for it at cun cun 11am... a lot kid was there. Honestly, I really feel a bit paiseh to squeeze in to the kid crowd... I DON'T CARE liao... I really want to do this!

Portuguese Egg Tart Making

Result: FAIL

Bought all the stuff from Tesco. Actually not so many... for egg tart making. Just a simple stuffs needed. Here is it...

For Puff Pastry->
250g plain flour, 1/4 tsp salt, 30g butter, 130ml water, 120g pastry margarine ( I can't get it from Hypermarket, so I decided not to put it... but it is WRONG!)

For the Filling->
250ml fresh milk, 80g caster sugar, 200ml UHT whipping cream, 1 tsp vanilla essence, 4 whole eggs (B), 2 eggs yolks (B).

These are my puff pastry which without putting pastry margarine.
The step to make this puff pastry is quite troublesome: roll->fold->wait... repeated few time.

Filled with the filling...


Alright... let put it into oven in 190'C for 30mins...


Here it is.... looks good? isn't it?


But...


The puff is in half raw...!!!


and... it is not a puff pastry!!!


Why? because i did not put pastry margarine... now I know it is an important ingredient in this recipe...

Gosh... actually I got 12 pcs.... how do I manage it?
The reason I failed is no pastry margarine and put wrong direction of the heat so made the puff in raw.

The filling is nice actually...

OK, let's get another try NEXT TIME....

ICE Annual Dinner

1st time attend such kind of Annual Dinner.
This year, ICE did not have any special theme because our Big Bos knows that we are busying on the project. So no need go find and buy any costume... just simple -> casual!

Let me introduce... guy with strap is our Penang ICE Director, Meng Tai. And the person next to him is Meng Tai's boss. He paid visit in Penang ICE. Normally, he use to come to Penang twice per year.

My dessert without having my main course. Dessert session was the most less people queqe up at first.

This is the stage... hired Band comes to perform.


Outdoor event...

Prize from lucky draw... MC called my number (200) when I was queue up to taking my food at behind. I have to walk along from the back with my food+plate... very paiseh.

I would say that this is a quite boring event... lucky dranw, eat, 1 game, chit chat... that's all. Maybe committee no time to prepare some games or activity. What most attactive me that night is... the room&design of Lone Pine Hotel. Someone won a 1 night stay in this hotel... so we all went up and had a look... very impresive... simply but elegant. I heard it is ~RM800 per night...wow!
